The Life and Times of Chester Lewis is an anthology with a twist.
Eleven different authors have each written a chapter of one man's fictional biography.
Each author also could only work off the previous chapters as they were written, building on the story as created by their collaborators, each covering a decade in Chester Lewis's life.
Lia's chapter (which was also the first short story she had ever written) covered a moment in Chester's teenage years. This wouldn't have been too much of a challenge except that the story was set in Perth (a city Lia has never been to) in the 1940s (er, ditto).
